Reviving my old thread... assuming im still going with 18x9 all around 40et. What size tires would I need to keep more or less the original diameter? I was thinking around 235/40/18? mild stretch

Yea I alwaay thought from all the threads that it was the diff bushing with the clunk when shifting. Plus it makes sense since the noise comes from the rear of the car.

I was always under the impression this thud was...

I was always under the impression this thud was the diff bushings. i still have it and I plan to replace them in the next month. Ill see if the noise goes with it.

Im getting extreme shudder, normally when cold when taking off in first from a stop... its getting really annoying and im suspecting its the clutch, im at 97k.

I have a sport suspension but my rear sits barely...

I have a sport suspension but my rear sits barely over the rear tires..?? Could I have broken rear springs or even a mount? It does make a creaking noise when I enter and exit the car on the drivers...

Yes, i think I made up my mind on that one lol. Im on the squared 18x9 atET40 now. if I will not have front clearance issues then I will likely go with that set. Would 235/40/18 be a decent stretch...

VANOS seals are apparently made of a material not suitable for the application, so heat or no heat, they are bound to be shot by 20k according to the guy who made the upgraded seals with the better...
