Why would you spray WD-40 on electrical connections? Some sort of electrical connection cleaner, yes...WD-40...no. That other poster was referring to the Crankshaft Sensor anyway, not the Camshaft...

+1 Check the battery connection terminals and the alternator connections...sounds like it's just a loose connection somewhere. Worst case: failing voltage regulator, but I doubt it.

I doubt it's the steering coupling...I just replaced mine for the hell of it on a 10 year old car with 210,000 miles and it was almost perfect. Jack the front end up, shake the tires at 3 & 9...

I have the same thing. I'm hoping it's just a clogged tranny filter and old fluid. I'll be changing those in a week, while crossing my fingers there is no damage to the tranny or torque converter...

Neither. Peake reader only reads engine faults, OBD II reads even less. You have to have it read at a dealer or shop with one of them G1's (I think that's what it's called).
