It tends to be 3 hours to remove/install diff and 4 hours to build it. It will depend on labor rates but they tend to be $100-$140.

This is pretty much the going rate for LSDs. A clutch pack LSD will cost you even more. A lot of R&D goes into these units and I guess with having a BMW the price to upgrade is more.

See, that's the problem. They need to be able to rotate freely or your spring rate will spike. That is why we use Swift thrust bearing with all our coilovers and spring conversions.
