Does anyone know if jet sucking pump somehow gets triggered by the sending unit? I see no other reason for it to be connected to the sending unit.

Ran out of fuel with 145miles left on the OBC Jet Sucking Pump or senders?

Do I need to replace jet sucking pump since I was only able to get 11 gallons of fuel in.

I only put 1-1.5 gallons in on the side of the road, so there had to have been fuel left in the tank.
