Actually, I think the far end of the brake booster hose connects to the sucking jet pump. Is this another routine 10-year maintenance replacement item? I suppose just the hose could be bad.

It sounds like any objective and quantifiable performance difference, if any, or mere subjective difference in brake pedal "feel" between new OEM and new SS is negligible as it relates to street use....

Flushed brakes yesterday. Bav Auto brake bleeder kit was perfect, aside from some initial non-sealing issues due to a wonky gasket on the filler cap which were resolved after getting the gasket...
