This past saturday I installed the painted mirrors.

Here are is a pic of the M6 bolts (10mm hex head) that are holding the left mirror. The length of these bolts should be 20mm. With these bolts the mirror are by far more secured than with the stock torx screws. In the top bolt a had more space and used one standard washer and one pressure washer, on the lower bolt, since the surface is not level I used two pressure washers.

Here a pic of the stock mirrors foam, I really think this is the best way to go to avoid the filtration of water and the potential for wind noise. In red circles the modified areas.
