Anyway, reference your post, I would agree, especially if what I am hearing is true -- that the factory amp crosses over it's outputs vs. full-range. (Is the rear amp a four channel with 2 bridged for the sub? I know very little about the HK system and it's driving me nuts! LOL)

The only disadvantage, and it's always the case...everytime you cut a wire, add a component, frock with the factory stuff, you ALWAYS take a chance on introducing noise and alt whine. And that just sucks after you've spent all that time and money...
