I will try the key thing today and let you know.
As far as something leaking into the cylinder, I have eliminated that as a possibility. If I turn the car on, and it goes into a rough idle, it will continue until i tap the gas. I have let it go in rough idle for as long as 30 second, after that i cringe and can not take it any longer.
I should also mention it does not happen all the time, but at least 3 times a week.
I will see how i can check the ECU flash and catalyst.
Could it have anything to do with the MAF sensor? I have cleaned it, but maybe it is going bad and a little jolt of air, from pushing down the gas puts it back in check? I have already taking apart and inspected the intake lines, clean with no cracks.
Does anyone now how to check a MAF sensor? Can it be done with a simple volt meter?
