We do math, lots and lots of math. All of engineering is the application of a tried and tested mathematical model of real world in an attempt to predict how the design will react in a given situation. Seriously, all the reading/writing we do is relegated to technical papers. I'm one of the very few who actually has a grasp on language, but then at the same time I'm not the strongest when it comes to math, relative to my peers. Lately I've been drawn toward physics and I think it's because it works both sides of my brain.

Go read up on some relativity and quantum mechanics and tell me I don't dream Reality is far weirder than the strangest dream you've ever had.
