BACKGROUND As a regular contributor here and on the Dynavin forums as "jeffb325" I have seen first hand many of the frustrations and difficulties many of you have run into trying to buy and use Dynavin units. Because of this it became apparent to me that there was a great opportunity to do a better job and I have decided to step up and become a Dynavin dealer. I currently have a car audio, parts, tools, and accessories business, J&T Distributing, so this online venture will be an extension of my current "old fashioned" brick and mortar business.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS READ THIS FIRST: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=754606[/B],
I tried to condense the entire thread into the first three posts, I know its a long read but if you are going to buy a dynavin READ IT you will be happy you did. If you still have any questions just send me an email or PM.....and dont forget to jump to the end of this thread to see the latest.
My intention is to put this level of information and detail into my customer service as this seems to be what is missing from many of our current dealer options.
My August and September E46 shipments are sold out, because of this overwhelming demand I can only take names for an interest list and will contact you in the future when more units become available.
Contact me at email@example.com with your name, username (if you have one) and email address. I will email you back to let you know when I expect to have a unit available for you. While I am not requiring prepayment at this time I may require a deposit as we get closer to the ship date depending on demand.
A few days before your unit is in ready to be shipped I will send you an invoice for the balance, when you pay the balance i will ship your unit. If you would like to take your name off the reservation list at any time just email me and I will take you off the list and refund any deposits or prepayments you might have.
In addition, if you are in California and you want to take a drive, by all means come by and see me in person, see the Dynavin installed in my car. I can also do the installation for you if you dont want to get your hands dirty!
This is where things stand right now:
AVAILABILITY Email me for current availability, Demand has been overwhelming and Dynavin's shipping dates have been....flexible.....I have no control over their shipping dates so no promises. The incoming units will always be the NEWEST units with all the very latest updates.
PRICING $649 shipped (domestic ups ground), payable with paypal, this includes a line output converter, install guide, and free shipping, and all the advice and help you might need. I will post if anything changes.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, Email me with your postal code and country and I will get you a shipping quote. Let me know what you would like to purchase and I can email you an invoice.
IF YOU HAVE OEM NAV The plugs that are in the dash on non-nav cars are in the trunk on oem nav equipped cars. In order to install the dynavin you will need a wire harness, known as the 5M Fakra harness, to extend all your connections up to the dash. It is a bit more work, not that hard, but just be aware that you have a different and more extensive install than standard. I can provide you with this special harness, it costs $55.
AC RELOCATION KIT Also, I know I will be asked this a million times so (thanks to some of our friends down under) here is a link to the different "AC RELOCATION KITS"....http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showpos...8&postcount=88
you can get these from your dealer, ebay, EAS (sponsor), tischer bmw (sponsor) etc... or dont use one at all (it works, just isnt quite as finished looking) I will likely be offering them as well at some point soon but for now I need to concentrate on getting the dynavin deal going.
ANTENNA ISSUES Cars originally equiped with EARLY BUSINESS HEADUNITS, the ones with "CD" buton instead of a "mode" will not get good radio reception when an aftermarket head unit as they use a powered antenna setup that recieves its power from the stock head unit. Take out the head unit and loose the antennas power source. I am currently trying to get confimation on how to best address this issue, discussion and solutions for this problem can be found by searching E46fanatics, try this thread for a start: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...enna+amplifier. Im pretty sure I know which adapters to use but seeing how I dont have an early E46 and have not done an install on one, I dont know for sure. Once we can nail down EXACTLY which adapter to use I will post it here and probably offer them to customers as well.
To add a little extra value I have put together a comprehensive guide to walk you through every step, making the installation a breeze for just about anybody. In addition to that I will be able to supply you with any other A/V accessories/cables you might need to get the most out of your Dynavin purchase.
Im happy to let everyone know that one of their own is getting into the business and I look forward to helping in any way I can!
