depending on which outerbanks beach you intend on driving you COULD do it but i would heavily advise against it. I've been going there since i was about 5 years old and still see serious rigs get stuck and need to be pulled out. There is a guy with an old army 10-wheeler that yanks trucks out on the daily. rent a jeep if you want to go out there. long story short...DON'T DO IT.
