The beauty of going with an original BMW part is that you have a full two year unlimited mileage warranty on the part (at least up here in Canada). Are you sure the cricket sound is coming from the new blower? Apparently there's also an internal recirculation fan under the dash that can also make the noise. Search around and you'll find it.
