Yes, you can retrofit auto light and rain sensor without temper dot light.
I guess mine is only 323 has auto light and rain sensor car. 
And from my experience, auto light sensor is so sensitive, so what I did is made a little hole on purple color sensor attach plate(right above light sensor). And it just turned on light automatically when I want it on.
