Through the plastic in the back down the tube......... or..... drill a small hole towards the front of the shock on the top (I am talking about shock side that has the carrier for the bumper bolt. Anway.... drill a small hole there... push it in an inch, seal it with a small screw. Test fit, if is is still short, pull screw out and push shock in another .25" at most, put screw back in, test fit.... once you have pushed it in enough, leave the screw in the hole, cover it with RTR or some sealant......

That is what has been going through my head lately.... thoughts?
