Well in the non-King's English that's sort of rhetorical, but it took me most of Palm Sunday to follow the very hidden DIY - that has one remove the top from it's mounting brackets in the compartment and lift/push/maneuveur it out of the way to see the drain holes.

One friggin maple tree seed (the propeller kind) politely settled horizontally over the hole where it gathered dirt as a ticking time bomb to block the drain.

The first symptoms of which were 2 inches of water in the spare tire well (after finding the mouse fur damp). Then at the next rain, there was the wonderful slosh/slush sound as 3 inches of water in the passenger's gear well of the top gushed to the other gear well as I took a curve. That is one unnerving sound.

I shall be posting pics and notes at the end of the DIY sometime later this week. But... for me it's now pretty much drain the oil - flush out the compartment drains.
