Also, some people thought that the convertible had a special battery type due to the extra vibrations that convertibles endure. I can tell you that the OEM battery is the same part number for convertible and sedan. The extra shock absorption is done via the tray.

Thank you for that correction (!).... please make it in the original post. Was looking and looking for a "49D" as mentioned and didn't see anything. Figured I'd have to go to All-Mart and get their $105 one as the Autozone battery is around 150 (and 160 without turning in your old battery).... it's a 49DL, and currently, the price is $97. Now at least I can get a bunch of things from the same place. Thanks!
