My Ride: 325i
BMW Virgin

Needless to say I have never owned a BMW until now, and even though it is older, and has several miles, I am completely impressed! Was just looking for something cheap to burn up the road for sales trips that got decent mileage, and came across an 02 325i with 165k on her... Cosmetically great on the outside, needs a little tlc on the interior, but runs and drives like a new one... 4k sounded pretty cheap to me as my aunt ran hers for over 250k miles with no problems. Hopefully I can run it for a couple of years and come close to getting my money back and upgrade then. A couple minor mods would be nice, but we'll see.

After owning a Chevrolet dealership for 62 years I still consider myself an American muscle kind of guy, (Still have my 3/4 ton truck for hauling stuff but at 7-11 miles to the gallon it's not exactly made for long hauls!) I have to say... this little car is a ton of fun to drive for such a small sedan!

Hope to learn quite a bit from you guys as I tend to retain information better by using the SSUMM (screw stuff up myself method) when tinkering, so hopefully you will head me in the right direction before it costs me a arm and a leg!

Thanks ahead of time to all of you "veterans" as I'm sure I will ask a stupid question or two, but of course that will be after failing to spell something correctly when using the search button!

If you're gonna be stupid, you better be able to handle the consequences...
