Seriously, I clearly understand rogues that dare to experiment with products. The gear cycling and temperature monitoring procedure described in the Bentley manual should not be ignored. The fluid simply has to be synthetic ranging from Dex III - Dex VI. My local dealer stocks bulk Dex VI for "refills". I used Redline D4 with two drains.
