cleans might be the best workout you will ever do. strengthens core, lower back, legs, flexers, traps, ect ect ect.

like glight said, you want to throw the bar straight up. make sure you arent coming away from your body. you should get to the point where your arms dont feel like they pull as much as you push through with your hips.
