Hey guys, been going through hell trying to JUST get started with removing my mechanical fan in order to get to the real Problem - blown idler pulley, shredded main belt. Before I even get there, I'm stuck at stage 1, trying to get this fan nut off. After spending the day trying to get it off, I am seriously considering chucking the Mechanical fan the moment its off and converting to the solo electric fan. My only concern is, has anyone monitored Auto tranny temps, especially in the summer times, in places like LA? Is there a diagnosis option in the dash computer to monitor the temp?
