I have used Safeco for 2 years now. I have a $300k house in Texas with a 2006 4runner. No tickets or accidents in 12 years. I was paying about $104 a month for my home and auto of which $880 was my yearly home premium.

When my son got his license at 16, I bought him a BMW. My monthly payment went from the $104 to just over $400 a month.

I really like my agent at Safeco because she is constantly looking for a cheaper rate for us. When I was looking for my sons car, she compared many cars and found that the BMW was actually cheaper to insure than others. This helped us in our decision. Anyway...just my $.02.
