As I've learned today, a manufacture's spring height will vary (independent of strut/shock) depending on the model selected. I opted to purchase a combo shock/spring setup (H&R Touring Cup Kit) that, according to manufacturer's claims, lowers my stock sport suspension approximately 0.75 in. at the front and 0.25 in. at the rear. I have about a <1 finger fender clearance at the front and a whole finger fender clearance at the rear giving an ever so slightly rake profile. I'm currently running on 235/40/18 all around on my '02 325i sedan.
