HELPPP Please bmw key does not work!!!

I had recently lost my BMW key and went to go order a new one from Peake BMW in Kenner, Louisiana. The key did not work so they ordered a second one. The second one did not work so they ordered a third one. Now they are saying that it is the control panel that has to be switched out. BUT if i found my lost keys then it would work with my current control panel. So peake bmw is making me pay $1053 for a new control panel that comes with new keys AND to top it off they won't reimburse me for the new keys that I just paid for!! How does it make it any sense to not refund me for a set of keys that doesn't work and making me pay for a whole new control panel. Isn't it their job to make my key work? Also, they won't explain to me why my new key won't work with my current control panel, they just said "we don't know" Can anyone explain this to me? Does anyone work at BMW? I called corporate bmw and they were definitely on my side. However I am still waiting for results. My car had to be towed to peake bmw and is currently sitting there waiting for a new control panel to come in. I don't understand why I have to pay for a new control panel and key! On top of that not refund me for a key that I do not have, b/c bmw has it, and also doesn't work, talk about ridiculous! Can bmw do this?
