Can't believe I found an E46 forum, woo whooo.

So over the weekend, I bought this 2003 325xi Touring. Had to tow it because the voltage light was on, found the alternator to be bad so replaced it.

Here are my new problems:
- The round "ball like" lights (outboard) light up but I can't get the standard inner lights to light, I have tried low beam, high beam, they never light up. Bulbs are good, fuses 9 and 23 for "light module" are both good, I have voltage to the light assembly but not at these sockets...

- gas pedal is "sticky" or "notchy" can this be lubricated? makes me drive like a maniac... is this drive by wire?... dont even see a cable to lube or change?
