I've got some pretty deep scratch marks in various areas that I was hoping to diminish. Is it a bad idea to use a high cut polish/compound in small areas (not going over the whole car)? Would it create noticeable spots? I've got an old bottle of Turtle wax medium cut rubbing compound in the garage, and thought maybe that would help with those deep scratches.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

To be honest I'm not a big fan of the Turtle Wax Heavy Cut, it's not particularly effective and it leaves plenty of haze behind. I'd personally suggest the M105. If the TW product does work for you I think it should be fine to use with spot treatments, just follow up with the M205 afterward.
