Where I come from there is something called personal accountability. That's what separates men from the children. I see you're still maturing.
Then the passengers are responsible for attending the party and drinking, getting into the car with a drunken driver, tolerating/condoning (or -gasp- even encouraging) crazy ass driving while they were in the car that led to the crash that killed them.

Certainly the driver bears most of the responsibility, but the passengers are accountable for their own contributory actions.
