The strut mounts make it really simple. They're keyed so that the strut holds itself from turning as you do up the top nut.

Ehh, I dunno. E46 fronts take about 45 minutes a side. I've done Jimmy's front struts so often due to bad parts that it's second nature, lol.

Also, the top nut isn't even an issue.
