My 2nd option would be to plasti-dip my wheels to cover up the nasty brake dust. Would the brake dust affect the outcome of the look of the wheels after being pasti-dipped?
May sound stupid, but have you tried wheel cleaners? They work wonders for me. Spray it on, let it sit for about 45- 60 seconds, and then wipe it off with a toothbrush and rinse.
