+1 on the brake fluid, by the way. I think I told you this already, and not others are telling you also.
DSC and ABS are things that depend on the brake system to work. If the brake system thinks it does not work it will turn on a light and alert the dependent systems that it is not reliable, and those systems will turn on their light.
