318i died while driving
interesting
was driving home and suddenly car died. electronics was completely turned off. was not able to put on the blinker to work.
well, then I opened the hood to check how things are battery clamps and suddenly noticed that blinker started working.
after that I tried to turn on the car engine and voilaa - it did start.
E46 is this normal case of such a situation? I mean, the car died when the battery terminals were not connected well.
does not the engine remain working after battery removed. power should come from generator. or am i wrong? if there were problems with generator, then battery should have needed charging too.
sorry for crappy english spelling and grammar.

okay. maybe it did happen too damn quickly and generator was not able to switch from battery to work by itself. logical thinking. cant find any other reason.
