The D99 and the D99+ are cosmetically identical on all but the CD/DVD interface screens......the functional differences are in the menus as there are more adjustments for the D99+ hardware.
Dont know where you bought your unit but we have been selling D99+ units for almost 3 months now so if you only got it 6 weeks ago I would think it would be a "+"
