On the passenger side is a fuel pump combined with a fuel level sensor.
On the driver's side in the US there is only a fuel level sender unit.
Connecting the two sides of the twin saddlebag tank lobes is a sucking jet pump. This keeps the fuel level high in the pump side to insure you have gas available to pump to the engine.
You'll most likely want to replace the right side pump only and also do the fuel filter which is located under the car, approx in the driver's seat area.
Do you know enough to know what you are doing?
