Where did you put the jack? Not on the jack pad, right?

You jacked from the control arm and broke it. My neighbor jacked his car from the control arm, and cut through the wire that goes to the speed sensor.

Sorry man, it sucks to be you these days. You should replace both control arms and the bushings. You only _have_ to replace the broken part, but smart money would replace the same part on the other side, and the bushings where the parts that move meet parts that do not move.

For future reference, the jackpads (which you should always use) are located forward of the rear tires where the fenderwell and the main part of the body come together, and under the hinge of the front doors straight down from the A-pillar.
