My Ride: is waiting
Sport springs with H&R shocks?

Will this work? I'm sort of tired of my H&R Sport cup setup on the street, and it's pretty tired anyway. I'm due for tires and an alignment so I was thinking of picking up some Sport or ZHP springs first since they seem to be plentiful on the forums right now. I'm no expert, so I'll give my problems and goals. Someone please advise if this is a total mistake, but from what I've read so far, I don't think it would make much difference other than ride height.
Be kind, I'm a suspension idiot.
Problems with H&R - Old and worn out looking and harsh ride for a daily driver. The car has 205k and these were on it when I bought it, no idea how many miles are on them. I know enough to know the shocks are all working properly and none are leaking, but the ride is too harsh and it sits a little lower than I'd like anyway, especially in the back. It bottoms out easily going over rough potholes (like in an unpaved lot). I can't say what would happen hitting a sizeable hole at speed since I fortunately never have.
Goals - Ideally I'd just like to go back to stock sport suspension (this is a sport package), although I don't have the cash right now for a full suspension setup, then alignment, then tires, which are bald on the inside rear due to bad alignment and yes, my neglect towards fixing it. Sport springs are cheap, so I thought I might throw them on, and replace shocks in pairs as I can. One question i have though is if just replacing the H&R Springs with sport will do anything at all for the ride other than raise it? Will it even work with the H&R shocks?
Who makes the most affordable, decent replacements for sport shocks? Bilstein or should I consider something else?

Thanks for taking the time to read!
