Wow! You must have gotten a steal!

I bought mine with ~70K miles on it without a PPI, yet Inspection II was done within the last year at a reputable shop (with paperwork to prove it) so I was satisfied that the car should be fine.

OP, as long as you can get a deal, there's no issue with getting a high mileage vehicle. Take the savings and catch up on maintenance. I've done $3K of maintenance on my M3 and I'm still ahead of what a lower mileage 2003 would have cost, and I have tons of brand new parts.
