My Ride: slow and steady
Mastercraft Tires - Experience?

Hi guys

Mastercraft have recently started advertising and selling in Australia with a limited product range.

Apparently they have a very high wear rating and the minimum that I've found on their product has been 540 or so.

So.... and my rear tyres are wearing out I wanted to get some opinions from you all about the quality and performance of these tyres.

As a comparison, I am currently running Falken 452s all round and on the price / performance / life equation I am quite happy with them. The fronts have more than 50% left and the rears will need to be changed soon. I did not rotate the tyres at all since new (lazy) and my wheel alignment has been done twice - once when the tyres were fitted and again after front suspension overhaul. I have since also DIY'd the RTABs but no alignment.

Car specs:
'01 325i
~100K miles
Steptronic
DD, occasional spirited driving and club meets

Previous tread:
Conti sport 2
Conti sport 3
(both grippy and quiet but poor life span)
Pirelli Dragons
(absolute sh1t!)

Thanks in advance for the input!
