If you have to change the wheel bearing then I don't think ripping the ebrake shoes out of the dust shield is a big deal. All easy to get to once you get the hub off. Yeah, you'd have to buy new ebrake parts and a dust shield but its not THAT expensive.

Let me know if you need to rent a wheel bearing R&R tool...see my sig!
