Well replaced the spring. Was pretty straight forward took a bit of force to get the arm to go down far enough to slide the new spring in. Also glad I got the spring pads as the upper one was all caved in on the old spring.
Here is a shot of the old stuff.
Also was going to attempt the urethane bushing fix I saw on here but that was a complete failure
