He's saying if he works friday and saturday, he makes $100 each of those days for a total of $800, and saves as much by not spending on fridays and saturdays.

I'm not sure where you valet'd, but you make way more than $12 an hour in tips. I remember ten years ago I knew a valet at a Marriott and he made easily over $100 a night.

He also didn't say he worked every day of the week. But even if he did, if he works 40 hours a week that leaves every weeknight and all day saturday and sunday for tinkering with his cars.
