Hi guys,

I have 99 323i and wanted to replace VCG and part number is 11129070990.
And when I went BMW(http://www.shellybmw.com/), they told me the part number I gave them has been discontinued and I get get it from any BMW. And they recommend to use 11120030496(after Sep. 2002) this one and told me they use this one for all older BMW 3 series and 5's.

Is it right?
Can I use this one on my 323?

I'm kind of confusing now.
