Not impressed with Actron tools.

Suggest you check out the Launch CReader VI. Although not BMW specific, it does a really good job with real time data, system readiness codes and will actually log data.



You can get one for around $80-$100 out of Asia on ebay or $180 from BAVAuto.

What you will find is you will need a number of tools to be able to really handle and manage these cars.

If I only had 2 tools to choose from for BMW testing, I would have the Launch CReader VI and the BMW Scanner 1.4.0 (PA Soft), these tools are less than a Peake tool by itself, and you can do a LOT more with them!
