Can you guys comment on this if you have been to one of the V8 race days?

I went to one on Saturday, and it was... Pretty boring. I have driven my car around a racetrack at Winton several times, and I had a hell of a lot more fun there, for a lot less.

Anybody care to tell me I was expecting too much?
All I wanted to do really was flog the crap out of a Holden V8 and slam the brakes on at the corners. They only let me use 2 gears 3/4 and told me to brake super early, so I had no G-force exerted on me at all.

I get all the safety and all, but I was by no means at the limits of the car, and was being told to drive safer. No, I'm not a terrible driver, and always had control of the car.
