Headlight film
My '05 E46 headlights looked like, like really bad. So I sanded them with
600-1000-1500 and then polished them with a $10 kit I got from Harbor Freight. Wow, really good for $10 and a 1/2 hour. Still, not really great.
Now I just happen to have some urethane protection flim lying around that I would like to try for UV protection. Does anyone have any ideas as to a finer polish/grit that I could use before the film? Or will the film's adhesive just fill in the less-than-perfect-surface? This is just an experiment and for $70 for
new covers I don't want to spend a ton of time on this, but a bit of experience/sage wisdom with finer polishes is greatly appreciated.
