Hi, has anyone received one of the new 4.04 Android units?

I have unlimited data on my Galaxy S3 and want to use it as a WiFi tether for the Android unit in order to stream radio and use Google Maps for Nav. Can anyone confirm if this works and do I need a WiFi adaptor?
