I was even thinking that when you did the VCG and had to remove the CCV pipe from the VC, it is very easy to break the ribbed pipe without realizing it. It becomes very brittle when old.
And while you're in there, make sure to check your OFHG for leaks.
Have you been under the car with the shield off to see where oil might be leaking there?
