front squats give you more of a forward explosion. aka quads. as well as more core intensive. everything comes from core.

I thought people with no injuries/back issues don't need to do front squats as long as they do back squats.
and front squats shouldnt put ANY load on your shoulders. it rests around your shoulders, but just because its on them doesnt mean there is any negative load on it.
