been using it for a couple weeks and its been great. phone doesnt get hot. nothing out of the ordinary and the quality of the cable looks on par with the oem cable. it was $7ish total i think
Can you confirm the cable supports audio out?
Plug it into your car or computer and try to play music via USB.
