I am trying to fix a rough idle/ stumbling when coming to a stop problem on my car. I have changed spark plugs, valve cover gasket, vanos seals, air filter,DISA valve, cleaned MAF, cleaned ICV, cleaned Throttle, cleaned connectors to all of these items where applicable. Im guessing its something not having to do with my air intake. I will also be using some Lucas Fuel injector cleaner on next fill up... but in the meanwhile..
when looking to find a bad coil/boot/spark plug would you guys unplug the coils one by one while the engine is idleing or shuld i disconnect one.. turn on the car... observe ... turn off the car... plug back in.... unplug another one .. turn car on... observe.. etc..
which route would be the safest/least stressful for the car?
I also noticed my car (M56 engine) has another MAF on the exhaust side. I wasnt able to get this one cleaned becaise the tube had a one time use clamp so i didnt want to mess with it until i got one from BMW.
