In terms of rebuilding your engine if you keep up with the maintenance and swapping parts that need to be gone, you shouldn't have any need to rebuild anything at 200k other than maybe the autotragic trans if it decides to die. If you have an MT, then that's one more issue off the table. Just keep going with what you're doing and enjoy it.
Edit to add: Swapping a V8 into a 323i wagon would be bomb. The look on some poor sucker's face when you roast him at the lights would be priceless.
