iPad mini..
Had the original iPad and own the kindle paperwhite .
Honestly if you're use to using an iOS device it's not the same. I primarily use it for reading alone . Just felt like the amazon software was slow, takes forever to search, loading stuff can be annoying and limited storage unless you use the cloud .
Paperwhite pros : super light , backlight is solid, cheaper
Replacing mine with a mini now .
